It also has entry fees so I won't recommend going here just for a photoshoot but to also have fun with your gang.

Ahilya Fort is in Maheshwar which is 2 hrs southwest of Indore airport. The massive Maheshwar Fort is situated on a hill over the Narmada River. This fort is best for the people who love visiting and exploring the historical buildings. When you visit there, you can enjoy the luxury stay at the heritage hotel and enjoy boating in the Narmada river. Monsoon & Winters are a favorable time to visit Maheshwar.
When you visit the place, also visit Omkareshwar which is a famous island-shaped pilgrimage site. Maheshwar fort or Ahilya Fort is open for the tourists throughout the year.
